Tammy King, a devoted mother, cherished wife, and beloved friend, passed away on February 5, 2025. She was a woman full of life, love, and warmth, whose kindness touched everyone she met.
Tammy was a loving and supportive mother to her son, Christopher King, and a welcoming, caring mother-in-law. She was the devoted wife of Butch King for 40 wonderful years, their love and commitment to each other were an inspiration to all who knew them. She was also a treasured daughter, sister, and friend.
Tammy was known for her strong work ethic and deep loyalty. Her coworkers adored her, and she took great pride in everything she did. She found joy in the simple things—working in her yard, spending time with family, and offering unwavering support to those around her. Her home was a place of love and acceptance, where Chris’s friends became family, and she celebrated their successes as if they were her own. No matter the circumstances, she had a gift for seeing the best in people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch King, and her sister, Lisa Bentley. She leaves behind her beloved son, Christopher King, his wife and their family along with all of those who loved her dearly, including her mother, Barbara Roberts, and her siblings, Robin Amerson and Ricky Roberts.
Tammy’s legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who loved her.
