Scott L Hendrickson

March 9, 1977 — April 7, 2025

Scott Lawrence Hendrickson was born on March 9, 1977, in Yuma, CO. He was sent to his eternal home on April 7, 2025, in Santa Fe, Texas, due to natural causes. He was the beloved son of Penny Bitterman and Rick Hendrickson.

Scott is survived by his partner Dorina, his parents Rick and Penny, his sisters Lisa and Emily, and daughters Tylin and Milahna.

Scott was very social. He loved spending time with his partner and extensive network of friends. Those who knew Scott, knew how social he was. He was always open to meeting new people.

Scott was a true animal lover. Growing up in Colorado, he had a large collection of snakes, turtles and lizards. He would spend hours outdoors adventuring with his sisters and friends through the woody area near their home. He would bring home any reptile he found. As he got older, he cared for his pets and wild animals alike.

Scott enjoyed music and eventually discovered a passion for playing the guitar. He taught himself to play as a teenager and continued to love the guitar throughout his life. He also loved fantasy, such as artwork, books, music and games. Scott was an avid reader. His family will fondly remember him listening to hard rock with a fantasy novel in hand.

Scott requested to be cremated, there will not be a church or graveside service. Donations to Galveston County Animal Rescue (GCHD.org) would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
