Joseph William Pipps, affectionately known as "Little Joe," was born on February 3, 1964, in Orange, Texas, and passed away on January 28, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and cherished memories that will be remembered by all who knew him.

In his youth and teenage years, Joseph was an accomplished boxer alongside his brothers. This early passion for sports not only fostered a sense of camaraderie among the siblings but also laid the foundation for his dynamic personality. Following his boxing career, Joseph dedicated many years to working in the Safety Field, a profession that took him to 42 countries around the world, including Iraq and Afghanistan. His travels were numerous, and he often took pride in sharing stories from his adventures with family and friends.

Joseph received his education at Vidor High School, from where he carried the values and lessons learned throughout his life. His personality was characterized by a love for life; he was known as a fun-loving individual who had an innate ability to bring laughter to those around him. Family gatherings were a source of happiness for Joseph, and he always cherished the time spent with loved ones. He often expressed a desire to live in the woods, embracing the beauty of nature and the outdoors which brought him peace.

Joseph's love for fishing was another significant part of his life. He found joy in the simplicity of this pastime, often sharing these moments with family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Dawn E. Schaefer-Pipps, as well as his daughters Dominique A. Schaefer Pipps, Dakota A. Schaefer Pipps, and Victoria Cunningham, along with son-in-law Corey Cunningham. Joseph also leaves behind brothers James F. Pipps, accompanied by sister-in-law Michele Pipps, and Patrick Pipps with sister-in-law Linda Pipps. His sister, Tracy L. Crawford, also mourns his loss alongside brother-in-law Brian Crawford. In addition to immediate family, Joseph is survived by several nieces and nephews, two grandchildren, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Dryden; his father, Frank James Pipps; and his brother, Mitchell Pipps.

Joseph's spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his laughter, love, and adventurous spirit, living on through the many lives he touched. His remarkable journey, filled with warmth and enthusiasm, has left an indelible mark on the world around him.
