Christopher Benjamin Frase, affectionately known as Chris, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, in Humble, Texas. Born on November 1, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, Chris led a life marked by dedication and service.

Chris was the beloved child of Harry Kelly Frase and Marguerite (Lee) Frase, both of whom predeceased him. His life was a testament to the values they instilled in him: hard work and commitment. Chris's legacy lives on through his sons, Scott Frase (& wife Leah) and Eric Frase (& wife Kaylee), and their families in Florida.

He is also survived by his brother, Paul Frase (& wife Becky) of Florida, and his caring sisters, Margaret (Peg) Barnes and Patricia Graves of Indiana, and Faye Harrison of Texas. Chris was also uncle to his nephews David Figgins, Shawn Graves, Jerel Bristol, and niece Theresa Clagg-Salvaggio, along with their families, who will miss him deeply.

After graduating from high school in Michigan, Chris embarked on a career in aircraft maintenance. His passion for aviation and technology led him to continuously update his skills throughout his career. He became an expert in helicopter maintenance, a field that benefited greatly from his expertise and attention to detail.

Chris worked for several technology companies. For over two decades, Chris worked tirelessly maintaining aircraft for the Drug Enforcement Administration. His commitment to excellence and his contributions to the safety and efficiency of the DEA's operations earned him a certificate of appreciation. Chris retired in 2018 after a fulfilling and impactful career, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and dedication.

Outside of work Chris enjoyed boating, fishing and working on his own cars. He could frequently be found with tools in his hand, a ready laugh and a joke to share.

As we bid farewell to Christopher Benjamin Frase, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey that touched many hearts, and a legacy that will endure. Chris's memory will be cherished, and his presence will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
